A Thai "Kruk" clay mortar and pestle. Another exotic and functional cooking tool made in Thailand. The mortar is 7" to 8" wide by 8" high. The wooden pestle is approxiamte 12" - 13" long. These are handmade pots and there are natural clay and glaze coloration variances. Glaze color varies from dark purplish-brown to orange. Rough patches on interior and exterior are typical. Hand made, size may vary slightly
