tamale steamer 30cm

This is actually our Asian Stacked Steamer which happens to be terrific for many Mexican cooking tasks. This great, inexpensive tool just appeared with Rick Bayless on his "Tamales" episode. Rick used it to steam the "tamalone", a large tamale that serves several people. The aluminum steamer is in three sections. The bottom section holds the water and the two top sections hold the foods you want to steam. Great for everything from crab, lobster, clams, pork buns and vegetables to tamales. Overall dimensions:(approx) 17" high and 13 wide. The bottom pan is 6" high and the two upper pans are 4" high. The lid is dome-shaped so you can fit "taller" foods on the top layer.
